A LUCA subscription provides access to the platform on a month by month basis. Depending on your work load you can freely cancel, or increase the number of subscriptions you have on a month by month basis.
A single LUCA License is activated to a single instance of Master Patch and allows an unlimited number of ‘client’ applications, such as cross platform Stage Viewer applications, to connect to Master Patch.
You are also able to move licenses freely among machines by releasing a license from an activated machine, whereon it will become available again in your user portal, the remaining number of days available on the subscription remains unaffected when moving a license.

The LUCA platform can operate entirely offline as all data is locally stored in the instance of Master Patch.
You will need an active internet connection in order to initially activate your LUCA license to an instance of Master Patch, but after the initial activation all application use can be done entirely offline.
If you were to connect an instance of Master Patch with an active license to a wider network, such as the internet, then you would still be able to access information on a viewer application remotely across the web.
